The Pursuit of Happyness

In 1981, Chris Gardner was a struggling salesman in little needed medical bone density scanners while his wife toiled in double shifts to support the family including their young son, Christopher. In the face of this difficult life, Chris has the desperate inspiration to try for a stockbroker internship where one in twenty has a chance of a lucrative full time career. Even when his wife leaves him because of this choice, Chris clings to this dream with his son even when the odds become more daunting by the day. Together, father and son struggle through homelessness, jail time, tax seizure and the overall punishing despair in a quest that would make Gardner a respected millionaire.

"how hard your life could be?"
thats the first question i asked myself after i watched this movie. Will Smith really played this character very-very well! how many times you feel touched by a character in a movie? you know what i mean.. all i want to say is, you should spare some time to get this movie, and watch it.. inspired by a true story, this movie should be in your 'must-watch' list.. try to understand how hard the 'real-world' out there could treat your journey.. his part of lives really-really inspired me.. see his quest for yourself, how he became a respected millionaire..

P/S: i need inspiration to live..

how do you define 'Mesra'?

a friend of mine pass me this link just now.. a very interesting topic i think, which has been discussed since many2 years ago, in many2 different places, and by many2 different people.. :)

so, after you read this thread, i want you to define the word 'Mesra'...
what is Mesra? mesra alam? kad mesra petronas? ramah mesra? pandai2 ko la nak define..

Reminder!

i really dont understand why such things happened.. during my previous company, they used to buy services from this provider too, and guess what, i've experienced the same thing! WTF?!

i remember during that time, i was asking about how to add another domain under my company's hosting (that time im still a beginner, bnyk tak tau..). Addon Domain la actually.. i was expecting dia akan jawab dengan cara nak menolong, and bg step2 yg perlu aku lakukan, coz itulah tujuan aku masuk diorg punya live chat.. but what i answer they gave me?

it sounds something like this..

"ooo nak tambah domain.. ko ni mesti tak pernah ada pengalaman urus benda ni kan.. mana orang yg handle benda ni sebelum ni? hehehehe.. nak tambah domain pun tak tau.. hehehe"

and then senyap.. aik? at first i thought dia ni kira nak communicate secara mesra la nak gurau2 dulu...blablablabla.. tak kisah la.. tapi lepas je dia "hehehe" tu, and senyap, aku start rasa lain dah.. dia ni memperbodoh2kan aku ke nak menolong ni? dr intro dia tu pun aku dah sakit hati dah.. how can layan customer gitu... kalo customer tu tau, takde la dia nak bertanya lagi.. cara dia melayan customer dlm live support tu, seolah2 customer ni jakun and bodoh and langsung tak tau apa2... so imagine sendiri la camana org jenis gini bercakap, dia merendah2kan org.. memperbodoh2kan org.. hmmm...

another situation, time tu aku nak transfer domain ke hosting baru, tapi domain passwd aku takde, so aku call and ckp nak transfer domain (time tu masih ada sebulan sebelum expired). pompuan jawab phone tu, and ini yg aku dpt...

"nak pindah domain?! kenapa nak pindah domain? apa yg kurang dengan MxxxxHxxxxxx ni?! stay je ngan kami, kalau ada masalah, bgtau... bukan nak main pindah2 cam ni.. apa yang kurang dgn kami ni sampai awak nak pindah? blablablabla...etc"

ada ke patut dia marah aku sebab nak transfer domain? balabak sungguh! kompeni lain tak pernah pun marah kalau customer dia chow.. itu hak customer! kalau customer chow, means something wrong with your place, so fixed it! teruk tul la...

what i can summarized from this experience, this people treat their customer like an idiot (until now? wallahualam... check balik link di atas utk mengesahkannya). tak caya lagi? cuba tanya kat mana2 tempat siapa yg pernah pakai service diorang.. walauapa2pun, terpulang kepada anda utk menilai sendiri.. aku takde niat nak menjatuhkan sesiapa, takde niat nak memburukkan sesiapa, sekadar ingin berkongsi pengalaman dan meluahkan ke'tidak puashati'an aku terhadap org2 yg tak sedar menjatuhkan maruah bangsa sendiri... assalamualaikum...

How to partner a successful relationship

Debbie Eisenstadt Mandel..

One day you're passionately in love professing eternal pledges of togetherness and then a couple of years later your partner can't do anything right and feels like a ball and chain you need to cut off. Everything your partner does begins to annoy you from banking to the bedroom. You want to go solo, but you still hold on to the memory, the slightest possibility of reviving an ember of love back into the flame of romance: Partings are indeed a mixed bag of sweet sorrow. Motivation is the key to success. While it takes two to tango, it takes only one to trigger change. Here's how to restore your relationship...
  • Begin to affirm your partner in your mind and in your words. Don't focus on the little mistakes. Nagging chokes all feelings of love; criticism erodes confidence. When one partner feels insecure and unappreciated, there will inevitably be an escalation of harsh words, for an offense is the best defense. Confidence is the key element in bedroom performance. If a man does not feel like a good provider, appreciated for his contribution he will not be able to make love.
  • Respect your partner regardless of monetary success. We tend to value income more than other attributes like creativity, wit or kindness. When a partner loses a job, common to this economy, or settles for a lesser paying job, often tension ensues in the household. Recently New York Magazine did a feature on women who financially supported their husbands. Most of these relationships were crumbling because the female breadwinners looked down at their husbands as though they were children or ne'er do wells. This affected the woman's bedroom. Apparently, American women are not yet ready for a role reversal.
  • Get real! In the beginning romance and fantasy are synonymous. However, daily relationships, which entail household chores like dirty laundry, smell of reality. Partners need to lower their expectations. No one is perfect and everyone changes. Bring fantasy into the bedroom. Dress for bedroom success; set the stage with candles and music and get yourself psyched! The brain is your most erotic organ. Play games, or meet your partner in a public place and pretend that you are seeing one another for the first time and act that way. In a sense maybe you are seeing your partner for the first time with different eyes.
