"Apparently: The UMS student is already found. currently in the hospital. It seems shortly after she was kidnap, the Kancil car got into an accident. currently going through treatment at the hospital"

8:10AM - Breaking News: i contacted one of my Sarawakian friend at UMS, and she verified that this news is true, they're still searching for this girl.. :(

i received this text messages from a friend of mine, early this morning..

Urgent! Pls watch out for a dark blue kancil SAA 4558 N, they just kidnap a UMS student at kingfisher. Pls report to police if u c this car. Pls spread this info. Tq!

first impression, i thought this was just another chain-sms.. but, i dont know why, i dont feel like this is a prank.. dont use the word ums student, man.. damn.. have a lot of friends there..

any of you received this sms? what do you think? does this plat number really exist?

if this msg is not true, then i dont mind posting it here, (at least my blog is updated, haha!), but if it's true, lets find this car..

i google the keyword "UMS Student Kidnapped", and i found out that im not the first person to post this, most of us received the text messages within the same time range (between yesterday, last nite, and this morning).

here's the most detailed one so far from Neverland..

URGENT: ums student kidnapped by a blue kancil SAA 4458N in front of Giant, Sabah at 7pm just now, 15/04/08. pls pray 4 her.
A student from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), from SPPS was kidnapped on 15 Apr 2008. The incident happened around 7pm.

The victim was kidnapped near Kingfisher Giant by dark green (dark color and dark tinted window) kancil bearing the plate number SAA 4558 M.

Please inform the police ASAP if you see this car.Your cooperation is very much appreciated.

im confuse too.. but from the latest news my friend told me just now, they've found the car last nite, but nobody inside..

so dunno whats the latest update. lets just pray that she'll be ok.. :-/

yep! they've found her and the car but the suspect/suspects manage to flee! according to sources that i've heard, there are actually 8 girls on their way home from church. while taking their turn to cross the narrow bridge from dunno, maybe the giant area to the main road, the first girl was caught and dragged to the kancil. kancil then sped off but luckily the friends manage to get the plat no., immediately alerted the police and UMS and everyone thru sms. the police then alerted all district police in sabah, and they all immediately put up roadblocks. finally, they manage to track the car which was in Keningau at that time. police car & helicopter chased after the kancil causing it to crash somewhere in Rompon, Keningau. the girl is probably unconscious so the suspect left her behind. now she's being treated in Keningau Hosp. oya, and the kancil is believed to be stolen bcos the plat no. is actually registered to a motorbike owned by a teacher. imagine his horror when the police came for him... heheh...

my JPJ friend confirm that the registration number was false. the number was regitered to an army personnel motorbike. ;)

waa... ni jauh tersimpang sudah ni, plat number motosikal pula.. ni lah ni kalau main forward2 jak kan.

tapi possible ka the kancil use fake plate number? ntah lah..

latest news i heard, the girl is safe, now di hospital keningau.. gila jauh, insiden di kingfisher, then eksiden di keningau.. ndak tau what is the right information..
